Meet Courtney Johnson, MSN,FNP-C 

Courtney Johnson is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in Dermatology and Cosmetics who has been practicing for nearly five years. After obtaining her Bachelor's of Science in Nursing from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University in 2013, Courtney spent the beginning of her nursing career gaining experience and exposure in various fields of nursing, included but not limited to Medical Surgical, Dialysis, Progressive Care, and Intensive Care Units in renowned hospitals across the United States.


Courtney graduated from South University in 2017 with her Master’s of Science in Nursing and was certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioner Certification Board as a Family Nurse Practitioner. At that time, Courtney joined a medical dermatology and cosmetic practice where she performed a variety of procedures including assisting in Mohs surgery, performing skin cancer biopsies and excisions, and diagnosing and managing dermatological conditions. Courtney also performed a variety of cosmetic procedures, including microneedling with platelet rich plasma, injectables, medical-grade chemical peels, and much more.
 

As a provider, keynote speaker, and passionate advocate for diversity in dermatology, Courtney made a decision to travel the United States in order to provide cosmetic services to individuals of different cultures and ethnicities. Courtney’s love for cosmetics, dedication and expertise in educating and performing cosmetic services has given her the opportunity to successfully service over 4,000 individuals in nearly all fifty states.
 

Courtney’s goal is to maintain an optimal level of professionalism and grow her expertise in this industry, while developing life changing relationships with patients who give her the honor of being a part of their treatment plan. This is not something she forced herself to do, this is indeed what she loves to do. She is excited and cannot wait to serve her community.
